Nearly 100 percent of our materials come from plastic bottles recycled in Europe. Polyester fibre gets a new life as felt in, for example, designer furniture, decorative panels, acoustically insulated workspaces and components for the automotive industry.
Polyester felt has numerous good properties, such as excellent thermoformability. The fibre’s Ökö-Tex 100 certificate is a guarantee that the felt contains no harmful substances, heavy metals or formaldehyde residues. GRS 4.0 (Global Recycled Standard) certificate also available, please ask for more information.
Using existing plastic is a sustainable way to create new innovations. This is how we and our customers reduce the amount of plastic among waste and, consequently, in the oceans.
Our thermoformable PES- felts have been granted emission class M1 for building materials by the Finnish Building Information Foundation RTS. More information about M1 -classification upon request: email@example.com
Examples of where polyester felt is used:
Work safety footwear that meet ESD requirements (DIN EN ISO20345, 20346, 20347)
Thermoformed headliners and door panels for the automotive industry
Liquid and air filtration for the steel and metal industries
Applications requiring protection treatment
Thermal and acoustic insulation, e.g. in interior design products
